A New Beginning
February 11-13, Arbor Lodge, Nebraska City
Begin the program with a class retreat and begin to establish a common language around leadership, look at Nebraska’s past and prepare for the future with team building activities. This will be your chance to get to know the members of your Leadership Nebraska class.
Policy-Making in Nebraska
March 10-12, Lincoln
The Lincoln session will highlight the roles of the branches of government; provide an overview of key public policy goals in Nebraska; highlight the budget process; and provide opportunities for class members to build their networks.
Learning in Nebraska
April 29-May 1, Kearney
This session will present the major issues affecting our education system today, which we are educating, how we are doing, the future of education, and what changes need to be made to the system. You will hear about day-to-day teaching and understand the impact that policy and priorities may have on the classroom experience for teachers and students, and how to mix business and education for a successful future.
Keeping Nebraska Healthy
June 24-26, Omaha
Identifying issues in private and public sectors of healthcare from a variety of perspectives is a key portion of this segment. Identify the trends and factors that are likely to influence health care access and affordability in the future, and get an inside look into the health care systems in the state of Nebraska.
Growing Agriculture in Nebraska
August 5-7, O’Neill
Learn and see what makes agriculture Nebraska’s number one industry. From production agriculture, value-added products, new technology, and conservation practices, you will also learn how Nebraska protects its environment and natural resources.
Developing and Discovering Nebraska
September 16-18, On the Road Across Nebraska
What is economic development and tourism? This segment will help define those to terms; present the state of our state's economy and challenges to our economic well-being; discuss the issues of attracting and maintaining businesses in the state; look at emerging business and industry; explore current efforts in regional economic development; feature tourism attractions in the area; provide ideas of what your community can do to bring in tourism dollars.

The commencement segment will give you one last time to bond with your class, find out how you can pass on the knowledge you gained while participating in Leadership Nebraska to your community and your state.
